Sports
Our age physical fitness is designed for toddlers, pre-school and school aged children.
We include Soccer, Kid’s Golfing, Basketball, Billiard, bowling, and swings as the vehicle to teach kids physical fitness and social skills. Think of our program as physical education classes for young children. Youth Sports during this time of life is very important for motor skill development.
Gardening
At Jennifer James Child care, pre-schoolers and school age kids have access to gardening. Gardens give children a chance to plant thier own fruits and vegetables, learn where food comes from and share their harvest with mom and dad at the dinner table.
Kids who learn to love gardening at an early age grow into adults with a passion for plants and respect for the environment. Gardens allow children:
- To be active and engaged in learning
- To build on prior learning and experiences with their environment
- To develop a relationship with nature
- To explore at their own pace
At Jennifer James garden, kids plant easy food such as:
- Lettuce
- Radishes
- Snow peas
- Cherry tomatoes
- Carrots
- Potatoes
- Bush beans
- Pumpkins
- Corn
